'America's Got Talent' Is the Biggest Hit of the Summer

America's Got Talent continues to dominate summer TV. NBC's off-season darling, the highest-rated non-sports programming this month, has lost zero steam from its recent premiere.

Four weeks in, America's Got Talent logged another 2.6 rating among adults 18-49 and 12.5 million viewers. That's virtually the same haul as its May 30 season premiere, numbers that haven't wavered over subsequent episodes. In the key demo, this latest episode is pacing 13 percent higher than the same week last summer. And that's just the live haul. The most recent live-plus-three lifts put Talent at a 3.3 rating among adults 18-49.
