'American Pie' Reunion Planned...But What About Seann William Scott in Rehab?

American Pie.jpg" style="margin: 5px; float: left; width: 300px; height: 234px;" />More than a decade after the first "American Pie" movie hit theaters, deals have been made with the film's major players to make a fourth movie in the saga.

Jason Biggs, Eugene Levy, and Seann William Scott have all completed their deals for the movie, which according to Hollywood Reporter will be called "American Reunion."

There are no plot details as of yet, but the title would imply that the gang is attending their high school reunion, possibly many years later.

Thus, the reunion setting would be a perfect opportunity to re-incorporate many of the cast members who weren't a part of "American Wedding." Thomas Ian Nichols, Tara Reid, Jennifer Coolidge, Mena Suvari, and other cast members are currently in talks to come back to the series for this newest installment. If they do, expect some major nostalgia to tug at your heartstrings.

This news comes just one day after Seann William Scott, who played Stifler in all three films to date, checked himself into a treatment facility for "health and personal issues." How that will affect shooting "American Reunion" is unclear, but Seann voluntarily admitted himself, so he's free to leave at any time.

The cast's personal problems could be an issue: Chris Klein also went into rehab last year after a DUI, and who knows what kind of condition Tara Reid is in.

This fourth film will not be written by the original team (who is now on to produce), but will be handled instead by "Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay" writers John Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg.
