'American Idol' Star Arrested

“American Idol” alum Haley Reinhart was arrested for allegedly punching a bar bouncer in suburban Chicago over the weekend, but the singer’s attorney says pub staff were the ones who “assaulted” Reinhart and that she is now taking legal action.

According to TMZ, Reinhart allegedly slugged a bouncer at the Lamplighter Inn as she and some friends were getting tossed out for knocking over a table. She was booked for battery.

But Reinhart’s attorney tells us that, “Without provocation, Haley Reinhart was assaulted by bouncers at the Lamplighter Inn. After forcefully removing Ms. Reinhart, they violently beat her friend, who sustained multiple injuries.”
