The follow-up, "Out of Summertime," is a much more upbeat song than "I Love You This Big," and conveniently has a less giggle-inducing title. It's a twangy number with some violin and banjo layered underneath, in which Scotty sings about the one that got away. "She coulda been mine, but we ran out of summertime," the 17-year-old singer laments.

It's just what the doctor ordered for Scotty right now: not only is it a love song, but it's an uptempo, catchy, sunny one that sings of lazy days and summer romance. Considering the fact that June just started, a big summer hit is a great idea for the latest "American Idol," and "I Love You This Big" just wasn't going to cut it.
