'American Idol' Hollywood Week Begins: Watch the Best of the 2012 Auditions
by Adam EatrosHollywood Week continues tonight on "American Idol," as all of the contestants who made it through the audition round head to Los Angeles to try to get the go-ahead to the live shows.
Judging by the lackluster ratings for the audition weeks, though, a lot of former "Idol" watchers may have skipped the audition rounds entirely. If you're one of them, we have eight of the best auditions from the preliminary round for you right here.
The auditions include: Johnny Keyser, Lauren Gray, Haley Smith, Ashley Robles, Kyle Crews, Heejun Han, Phillip Phillips Jr., and Reed Grimm, all of whom made a big impression with the judges. Whether it was Heejun's excessive modesty and surprising voice or Reed Grimm's strange but entertaining cover of the "Family Matters" theme song, each of these performers proved they have what it takes to make it on this show (past Hollywood Week at least, we hope).
