'American Horror Story' Season 3 Spoilers!

Looks like alumnus cast member Dylan McDermott might have let some new information slip about the super secretive season 3.

He essentially confirms that season 3 will cover, at least in part, the Salem Witch Trials.

This news comes with much rejoicing as fans have been speculating wildly about the few and far between hints leaked by Ryan Murphy.

This comes along with the not quite so official casting of Kathy Bates as the rival of Jessica Lange.

Imagine the acting powerhouse of Kathy Bates, Jessica Lang, and Lily Rabe playing rival witches. I tingle in anticipation and can only hope to see it become a reality.

Lily Rabe has said she wanted to do something new this season, and she can rest easy that it will happen because that is the nature of the show. She is very optimistic about this season, as Ryan Murphy has told her the wonderful things he has in store for her this time around.

Dylan McDermott has revealed that he’s not so sure he’s returning for the new season, citing an upcoming pilot series as a major conflict. But he hopes to juggle both if he’s asked back.

So, “American Horror Story” fans, how do you feel about this new revelation? The series is stated to take places in different cities this time around, as well as different times, so the Salem Witch Trials would just a small fraction of the overall picture.

But an evil, witchy trio of Kathy Bates, Jessica Lange, and Lily Rabe… What more could you ask for?
