'American Horror Story' Season 2 Adds Eric Stonestreet of 'Modern Family'

'American Horror Story' Season 2 Adds Eric Stonestreet of 'Modern Family' Fresh off an Emmy win for his work on "Modern Family," Eric Stonestreet has another gig lined up: a return to "American Horror Story" for the second season!

Those who saw the first season of "AHS" may remember Stonestreet's guest appearance as Derek, a rather timid and anti-Cam patient of Ben's who, like most characters in the first season of the show, met an untimely end.

But with the new setting and story of the second season, Stonestreet is free to return for what looks to be another guest spot. Details are pretty scarce about the Emmy winner's role in the upcoming season, but rumor has it he might be playing a killer.

The second season will be titled "American Horror Story: Asylum," and will be set in an insane asylum in the 1960's. The show celebrated a victory last night at the Emmys, where Jessica Lange earned an award for her supporting role as Constance in the first season. Lange will move up to a starring role in this new season.
