'American Horror Story' Season 2 Adds 'All My Children' Star

'American Horror Story' Season 2 Adds 'All My Children' Star The list of inmates for "American Horror Story" season 2's creepy asylum is growing. The latest addition: "All My Children" star Mark Consuelos.

Consuelos has been confirmed by THR as the newest addition to the cast of the horror anthology. Consuelos will be playing the role of Spivey, another one of the inmates at the insane asylum that serves as the setting for the second season. He will be joining the likes of Zachary Quinto, Adam Levine and Chloe Sevigny, who are also on board to play inmates.

Other major cast members include James Cromwell as a doctor at the asylum, Joseph Fiennes as the owner, and returning star Jessica Lange as the nun who runs the facility.

The second season will wipe the narrative slate clean from the first season, as the show will take on a new story with new characters and a completely different location. Should the show be renewed for a third season (and if this one goes as well as the first, that's likely), you can bet the whole thing will be rebooted yet again.

Consuelos has another current project going: he is working with his wife Kelly Ripa for CMT's reality show "Cheer," which centers on (you guessed it) cheerleaders. I'm not sure what's scarier, that or "American Horror Story."
