'American Horror Story: Freak Show' Adds World's Smallest Woman to Cast Another member joins the cast of "American Horror Story: Freak Show."

Jyoti Amge, the record holder for the world's smallest woman, has officially signed on, announced showrunner Ryan Murphy via his twitter.

Murphy posted a photo of Amge, held by Jessica Lange, with the caption, "Jessica and our newest cast member Jyoti Amge... the world's smallest woman."

She joins other big names like Kathy Bates, Angela Basset, Frances Conroy, Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, Gabourey Sidibe, and Evan Peters.

Amge, 20, was awarded the title of World's Smallest Living Woman on her 18th birthday. She stands just 2 feet 0.6 inches tall due to a growth anomaly called Achondroplasia.

She has appeared on television before, featured on the 2009 documentary "Body Shock: Two Foot High Teen," and also guest appearing on "Bigg Boss 6," an Indian television program similar to "Big Brother," and "Chelsea Lately."

Singer Patti LaBelle is also a new addition to the cast. She will have a short arc on the series, portraying the mother of Gabourey Sidibe's character, and beginning to delve into the mystery of "Twisty," the clown killer. Or is that killer clown?

The fourth season of "American Horror Story" is set in Florida in the 1950's, where Jessica Lange's character manages one of the last freak shows in the country. It will debut this October, though no official premiere date has yet been set.
