America Ferrera Will Appear on The Good Wife America Ferrera has been laying low since her show Ugly Betty was cancelled.

The show was a huge hit and got America’s name out there in the public and got her some other roles. She starred in the movie the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants with Blake Lively.

But what else does America have going on?

It was just announced she will make a guest appearance on the surprise hit show, The Good Wife. Julianna Marguiles stars in the show along with Chris Noth. The show has a great midseason coming up with two guests. From Digital Spy:

Entertainment Weekly reports that the former Ugly Betty star will join the cast next month in a recurring role as a romantic interest for Eli, portrayed by Alan Cumming.

Ferrera will play Natalie, a graduate student who catches the eye of the campaign manager, and is confirmed for three episodes.

Meanwhile, King Of Queens actor Jerry Stiller is due to appear in one installment, as the show's latest judge.

Robert King, co-creator of the political drama, said of the signings: "It's thrilling to have two actors who combine such dramatic and comedic ability.

"We've been watching and loving America for years now on Ugly Betty, and it’ll be fantastic to see her take on a completely different role - especially one that puts her across from Alan Cumming.
