Alec Baldwin's Trump Returns for 'SNL Weekend Update'
by EG
It's been a long time since we've been treated to Alec Baldwin's Trump impersonation, so we were all ready for his retun to Weekend Update this week.
NBC's Saturday Night Live: Weekend Update Summer Edition returned for its third, and final, episode on Thursday to dissect President Donald Trump’s rally in Phoenix earlier this week.
Alec Baldwin reprised his role as Trump, walking up to the podium in eclipse glasses. “Wow, everyone’s so white here,” he said as he took his glasses off.
“The media has treated me so unfairly by using my exact remarks,” Baldwin’s Trump said of his infamous “both sides” Charlottesville comments.

“We all love the wall, don’t we?” Baldwin asked the crowd, referencing Trump’s proposed wall along the Mexican border.
“Yeah, it’s my favorite album,” Thompson said.
Also addressed was Trump’s firing of White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, who, as he had all last season on SNL, was portrayed as the Grim Reaper.
“Steve, we love you,” Baldwin's Trump said.
“I’m going to crush you,” the Bannon specter replied.
