Alec Baldwin's Best Moments on '30 Rock'

Earlier this week, Lorne Michaels stated that NBC comedy "30 Rock" had a long life ahead of it, even if that meant parting with series star Alec Baldwin.

What would the show be like without Baldwin's company man Jack Donaghy balancing out the relentless cesspool of crazy that is Tina Fey's Liz Lemon?

I don't even want to ponder it. The last time Liz and Jack were separated, Liz hit on her elderly father to teach him a lesson about gentleman's intermissions and wore a Duane Reade bag as underwear. It was bleak.

So instead of imagining what the show might be like without him, let's instead celebrate some of Alec Baldwin's best moments on "30 Rock".

Jack Takes Tracy to Family Therapy:

Possibly the ultimate moment that showcased what a comedic treasure Alec Baldwin is happened early in the show's run. To stop Tracy from giving into his impulses to do the worst thing possible and dog-fight, Jack helps out in his therapy session. It quickly devolves into an amazing display of "Good Times" characters as Jack takes on the role of Tracy's father. This easily ranks as one of the funniest moments the show has ever done thanks to Baldwin nailing every second.

Future Jack Donaghy:

The last season of "30 Rock" was zanier and more off-the-wall than ever before. And no episode represented that better than the show's 100th outing, which saw everyone gassed and hallucinating. Jack met the ghosts of Jack past, sideways (Lost shout-out!) and future, allowing Baldwin to play three different versions of Jack. The standout here has to be future Jack's "Tron" light up suit though.

Jack's Mirror Pump Up Speech:

What does Jack Donaghy do to get pumped up before big corporate events? Mirror self-affirmations made entirely of commercial jingles of course! "Is it in you? I'm loving it!"

Jack Explains the Handsome Bubble:

Things come easy to handsome people, Jack explains to Liz. They live in a handsome bubble in which everything they do is praised because of their looks. For years Jack even thought he could speak French, when he was really speaking gibberish.

Musical Fight with Condoleeza Rice:

When Jack goes to ex-girlfriend Condoleeza Rice for help, she's still a little mad about his text message breakup. So they settle it the way grown adults do: musical instrument face off!
