Al Pacino's Daughter Arrested for DUI in NYC, Admits to Smoking Pot

Al Pacino’s 21-year-old daughter, Julie, was arrested on Saturday after being stopped by a traffic checkpoint in New York City.

At 1:05 a.m., Pacino was detained on Manhattan’s West Houston Street with a blood-alcohol level over the legal driving limit, according to the Huffington Post. Her exact blood-alcohol level was not available immediately, though some reports have stated it was 0.12.

"She had bloodshot, watery eyes, slurred speech and the strong smell of alcohol on her breath," said officer James Duffy in a police statement.

"She admitted to drinking three beers and smoking marijuana prior to entering the checkpoint."

Pacino, an aspiring actress, has been held at the Manhattan Detention Complex and is pending arraignment.

Julie Pacino is the daughter of Al Pacino and acting coach Jan Tarrant.

According to People, Al Pacino rushed back from Los Angeles where he has been shooting a biopic on Phil Spector shortly after the arrest.
