ABC Host Jimmy Kimmel Engaged

ABC Host Jimmy Kimmel Engaged The second time at the altar might be Jimmy Kimmel's charm.

Congratulations were in order Wednesday with the announcement that ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" late-night host will take a second stab at marriage by the side of now-fiancé Molly McNearney.

Kimmel, 44, made the popping of the question memorable amid South Africa's scenic and sprawling Kruger National Park. Kimmel's representative confirmed the now-impending nuptials to People.com, but apparently little else.

Here's to workplace romances, too: McNearney, 34, is a co-head writer on Kimmel's show. The two have been dating since 2009, People reports. Kimmel's marriage to his first wife, Gina, spanned 14 years from 1988 to 2002 and produced Kimmel's two children. More recently, he had a seven-year on-again, off-again relationship with comedian Sarah Silverman. The were together from shortly after Kimmel's 2002 divorce until 2007, then rekindled their flame from 2008 to 2009.

It will be McNearney's first marriage.

"After Jimmy and Sarah broke up, Molly and Jimmy both found themselves single, and they clicked," a source close with both told the magazine circa 2009. "They're really happy together."

It's looking like one bountiful year for Kimmel, who first shot to notoriety hosting "The Man Show" alongside Adam Carolla on Comedy Central. He's also been tapped to host the Sept. 23 Primetime Emmy Awards.

Congrats, you crazy kids. Oh, and Jimmy? Eyes on Matt Damon this time, OK?
