Ab Fab is Back! Cult BBC Hit Returns for 3 New Episodes With Original Cast

Ab Fab is Back! Cult BBC Hit Returns for 3 New Episodes With Original Cast First MTV brings back "120 Minutes," and now BBC and Logo are bringing back "Absolutely Fabulous," the cult British comedy about a bunch of snotty, privileged, self-obssessed, drunken, lovable fashion whores. It's beginning to feel like 1993 all over again.

"Absolutely Fabulous" ran from 1992-2003 on BBC (with a special in 2004) but the series has taken on a life of its own with airings on Comedy Central, PBS, BBC America, Oxygen, and now Logo,

BBC and Logo will be running three brand new specials from the show, and luckily it's no remake. Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley will reportedly return as the hilarious and brutally catty Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone.

Jennifer Saunders, who also created the show, told the BBC that "like a good bottle of champagne we hope that we have got better with time without losing any of our sparkle."

According to a new release from BBC Worldwide and Logo:

"Twenty years ago the world was introduced to Edina, Patsy and Saffron. It has never been quite the same. Eddy PR'd things. She was into every new fad and fashion imaginable and was often to be found at the bottom of a Champagne glass, actually more likely a bottle. Not much has changed. Her best friend Patsy worked in magazines and lived the high life. She still does. Eddy’s daughter Saffy was hard-working, all but ignored by her mother and hated by Patsy. Eddy’s mother was and is, well, her mother. They are all back for three new shows, 20 years after they first fell on to television."
