'That '70s Show' Lisa Robin Kelly Dead at 43

Lisa Robin Kelly, 43, who played Eric's sister on "That '70s Show," died Wednesday night from apparent cardiac arrest at a rehab facility in California. TMZ reports that Kelly was checked into the facility last week and, according to her agent, was set on getting herself free of the problems with alcohol abuse with which she'd been struggling for years.

The Los Angeles County coroner's office was planning to conduct an autopsy on Saturday, Aug. 17, but because toxicology tests will take a considerable amount of time to complete, the official cause of the actress's death will probably not be released for several weeks. Officials said that they weren't ruling anything out as they searched for the cause of death; speculation about possible cardiac arrest came from Kelly's agent.

Kelly's TV debut was on "Married…with Children" in 1992, but her highest-profile gig was on "That '70s Show," in which she played the role of Laurie Forman from 1998 to 2003.

Kelly had been arrested several times in the past few years for DUI, spousal abuse and assault. Her most recent troubles, according to sources close to the actress, stemmed from a confrontation with her estranged husband in which he allegedly beat her in an attempt to obtain money from her. The man was convicted of domestic battery and sentenced to three years' probation.
