The Martian's reign could be over this weekend as James Bond and Charlie Brown come to town looking to shake things up at the box office. Spectre and The Peanuts movie could end, at last, the ticket-sale carnage that characterized October.

Fans were deliriously happy with the fourth season of Longmire on Netflix for a few days, but when they'd finished watching those 10 episodes, they demanded more. Fortunately, we know now that Netflix is going to give them what they want.

A cold, rainy Halloween weekend was bad news for all the new movies at the box office. None of the new films could even come close to competing with the veteran movies that are still ruling the theatrical landscape.
