Hustler's Ambition: 50 Cent Wants 'Jersey Shore' Star Pauly D to Join G-Unit

Could Pauly D be a rising hip-hop star? According to a report by TMZ, the "Jersey Shore" star is being pursued by 50 Cent in hopes that he can sign Pauly to a record deal with G-Unit.

The deal is allegedly a huge one, not just a single deal but a 3-record contract. Fiddy and Pauly D reportedly met last week, and are already talking about collaborators for Pauly's first album.

Not only would Pauly make some music for G-Unit if signed, he could also have his own line of branded products. Anyone interested in a set of Pauly D headphones? You might be able to get some soon. Just be sure to wipe the excess hair product off of them before you put them on.

Pauly D's music career has enjoyed some big leaps forward recently, including a job spinning at the Palms in Las Vegas and an appearance at a Britney Spears concert. There has also been talk of Pauly getting his own spin-off show after next season of "Jersey Shore" (which is likely to be the last with these cast members).

With this news of a record deal with 50 Cent, Pauly D's future is looking pretty good...or lucrative at least.
