Is 50 Cent the New Dave Chappelle? Fitty Launches a New Comedy Site

After recently breaking into the movie industry (though we still don’t really know where "Things Fall Apart"‘stands), 50 Cent is taking his passion for all things entertainment into the world of comedy.

Fitty's new site, ThisIs50Comedy.com, is not officially live, but currently has content featuring Young Jack Thriller, Marlon Wayans and Jonny Bones Jones.

An off-shoot of the rapper's ThisIs50.com website (which already as a huge following for its news, music and video offerings), ThisIs50Comedy.com launches in its entirety Thursday, April 28, and will feature the hip-hop artist's new comedy show, the ‘This is 50 Comedy Show.’

The show will be taped in front of a live audience in the Times Square Art Center in New York.

According to Popeater, the show will return on the last Thursday of every month, promising audiences "the cutting-edge humor of the nation's funniest comedians."

For $2.99, subscribers can watch it being streamed online. Proceeds will benefit Japan’s relief fund. In the meantime, fans can watch interviews with comedians and video clips like the “Mandingo” song at ThisIs50Comedy.com.

The trailer for the ThisIs50 Comedy Show promises us: "The comedy game is about to change. Your life is about ready to change. I hope you're ready to laugh your a#$ off." Can Fitty deliver?
