With news today that Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are getting divorced, reactions range from shock (though not much) to eye-rolling to conspiracy theories that the whole thing was just a publicity stunt.

Of course, in this day and age the idea of a reality star like Kim putting on a wedding for ratings (not to mention the tens of millions that she reportedly earned out of it) is not out of the question. But there have been other celebrity weddings in the past that have lasted an even shorter amount of time, and they definitely weren't for the publicity.

Drew Barrymore and Jeremy Thomas - 19 days

This one happened when Barrymore was just 19 years old, as she married bar owner Jeremy Thomas back in 1994. Thankfully, over the years, Barrymore has gradually become less of a mess... or at least a little better at hiding it. Barrymore also had a short-lived marriage to Tom Green in 2001, but at five months that union outlasted Kim K.

Ali Landry and Mario Lopez - 14 days

The story goes that Mario Lopez cheated on Ali Landry during his bachelor party, in what he called "a situation where I was not mature" during an interview with Howard Stern. That's putting it lightly. If you tack on the six years that Landry and Lopez dated before their marriage, then their track record is a bit better.

Chris Kattan and Sunshine Tutt - 56 days

The "Saturday Night Live" star married his model girlfriend of two years only to see it all fall apart in less than two months. Of course, one can only imagine what it would be like to be married to the guy who played Mr. Peepers. Home life couldn't have been too quiet.

Dennis Rodman and Carmen Electra - 9 days

Just when you start to feel some sympathy for these short-lived celebrity couples, you're reminded of Dennis Rodman and Carmen Electra, and you can't help but laugh. The odd couple dated for eight months, then got married. Then, nine days later, Rodman started claiming that he was drunk during the ceremony and filed for annullment. Technically it wasn't quite over then, as Rodman withdrew that claim, but eight months later Electra filed for divorce. It's hard to imagine they were living the happy married life during that time.

Britney Spears and Jason Alexander - 2 days

The king of all brief celebrity weddings, the union between Britney Spears and Jason Alexander lasted all of two days. Spears married Alexander, a childhood friend of hers (and not the guy from "Seinfeld") in a ceremony is Las Vegas, the city where eternal unions are made. Two days later, Spears filed for an annullment claiming that she "lacked understanding of her actions to the extent that she was incapable of agreeing to marriage." In other words, she was too wasted to know what the heck was goin' on, y'all.
