'30 Rock' Gets Iced: Ben & Jerry's Reveals Flavor

'30 Rock' Gets Iced: Ben & Jerry's Reveals Flavor30 Rock” may be making its final exit from the air, but that doesn’t mean you can’t keep a bit of Liz Lemon close to your heart.

Or, you know. In your freezer.

Less creepy than it sounds, because the beloved (and delicious) ice cream icon Ben & Jerry’s is releasing a limited edition flavor based on the show to celebrate its final season.

Announced Thursday, the flavor is called “Liz Lemon.” It is a lemon-flavored Greek frozen yogurt with swirls of blueberry and lavender.

Does that correctly translate Tina Fey’s character into frozen treat?

The flavor will be circulating around Ben & Jerry shops this month, and will be making its way to stores in spring.

Other television-based flavors have been a hit for the company. Stephen Colbert had his own Americone Dream, Jimmy Fallon got Late Night Snack. “Monty Python” got Vermony Python.

Musical themes Phish Food and Cherry Garcia also came out and have maintained popularity since their release.

Latest and possibly most controversial was the “Schweddy Balls” flavor—based on a classic “Saturday Night Live” skit featuring Alec Baldwin.

However the humor didn’t sit with conservative group One Million Moms, who contested the flavor.

"The vulgar new flavor has turned something as innocent as ice cream into something repulsive… Not exactly what you want a child asking for at the supermarket," they complained.

The ice cream featured vanilla, rum, and fudge-covered rum and milk chocolate malt balls.

Also making the list of “most hated ice cream” was the special edition of Chubby Hubby, a popular staple temporarily renamed “Hubby Hubby” to celebrate legalization of gay marriage.
