30 Rock Actor Tracy Morgan Undergoes Kidney Transplant

Comedian Tracy Morgan will be taking a leave of absence after recently undergoing a kidney transplant. Thankfully, Tracy is in good shape after the medical procedure and is "looking forward to going back to work ofter the holidays," E! reports.
According to his rep, "Tracy is doing well and taking some much needed time to recover after the surgery."
Tracy's 30 Rock character Tracy Jordan will reportedly miss 2 episodes while recovering.
Sources close to the show are saying that the absence of Tracy will be explained by some sort of "happy news" in the story plot.
Randomly enough, Tracy is the second 30 Rock cast member to be sidelined for an organ transplant. Earlier in 2010, Grizz Chapman received a kidney transplant after battling renal disease.
