2015 SAG Awards: Full List of Winners

2015 SAG Awards: Full List of Winners

The 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards have been handed out, and while there were a few suprises, many of the major categories were in step with the awards season thus far.

"Orange is the New Black" was a big winner this evening, with Uzo Aduba winning the first award of the night for her performance as Crazy Eyes, and the entire ensemble winning in the Ensemble in a Comedy Series category.

The show was the only multiple award winner of the evening, with the rest of the awards spread out over 11 other shows and movies.

However, the winners in the movie categories helped reinforce the trend among the other award shows, strengthening their bids for an Oscar win. Eddie Redmaybe, J.K. Simmons, Julianne Moore and Patricia Arquette all won Golden Globes and are favorites to win at the Academy Awards as well.

The Television categories were a bit more surprising, with "Downton Abbey" beating out big shows like "Game of Thrones" to win for Ensemble in a Drama Series, and while Kevin Spacey was a predictable win, Frances McDormand and Viola Davis were somewhat surprising.
