2015 Razzie Awards Nominations Name 'Transformers: Age of Extinction' and 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' As Worst Films of the Year

The Golden Globes have already aired and The Academy Awards are just around the corner, but there's one more awards show that you should be paying attention to: The Razzies.

Every year, the Razzie Awards honor the worst movies, actors, writers and directors in Hollywood, giving all of those terrible movies that come out every year a chance to get a trophy of their own.

Among the many honorees this year are Michael Bay turds "Transformers: Age of Extinction" and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," as well as the controversial "Saving Christmas" from Kirk Cameron.

Cameron actually attempted to game the system on Rotten Tomatoes and get his fans to give his movie a positive review, which ultimately backfired as other cinemaphiles caught on and perhaps brought the movie's audience rating even lower than it would have been in the first place. "Saving Christmas" recently also earned a spot on IMDB's ranking of the worst movies of all time...the #1 spot.

Does that make "Saving Christmas" a lock for Worst Picture? Perhaps.

On the acting side, cast members from Adam Sandler's "Blended" made the list, including Sandler himself. New this year, though, is the "Redeemer Award," which honors a former Razzie winner or nominee who has gone on to do something artistically worthy this year: Ben Affleck, for example, is nominated for "Gone Girl" after getting a previous Razzie for "Gigli."
