1st 'True Blood' Season 5 Clip: Alcide Spills to Sookie About Russell

The first official clip from "True Blood" season 5 is here! Hey, we all know that "waiting sucks," but seing a bit of an upcoming scene can at least make it suck a little less, right? Between this and the teaser trailer, we at least have some footage to go on.

The clip is, interestingly enough, not a finished piece of the show. Rather, we're getting a behind-the-scenes look at the shooting of one of season 5's scenes, this one between Alcide (Joe Manganiello) and Sookie (Anna Paquin). We still get to see the scene unfold, just from behind the camera: Sookie asks Alcide what he's so concerned about, and he reponds by telling her that Russell Edgington is on the loose. This comes as a surprise to Sookie, who figured Russell was dead.

This clip is one of two released by "True Blood" today, as another is available exclusively on HBO Go. That scene follows this one, and has Lafayette bursting into Sookie's kitchen, getting a bit rude with Alcide, and trying to get Sookie out of there so he can keep her safe.

"How the f*ck do you think you’re going to protect her from an ancient, pissed-off vampire when all werewolves do is get vampires even more pissed off," Lafayette asks Alcide. "We’re done with all of this supernatural bullsh*t, you heard me? No vampires, no ghosts, no witches, no maenads and no f*cking werewolves!"
