'16 & Pregnant' Star Lives in Fear After Assault

Staying true to early blooming, MTV’s ’16 & Pregnant’ is taking on the serious issue of domestic violence before the show even begins.
As TMZ reports a new star of the show, Jennifer Del Rio, is living in fear of the father of her twins.
After a recent assault, Del Rio, 17, has requested a restraining order against 19 year-old Josh Smith.
According to TMZ, the documents were filed last month, hold that Smith has been harassing her and threatening to have her raped. Additionally he has attempted to kidnap the children, Del Rio claims.
He was arrested in November for domestic violence. A preview for the show shares when the new series debuts on April 19. Del Rio is seen yelling at Smith as he is walked away in handcuffs.
