For all Lady Gaga's mass appeal, she just couldn't top a classic. "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" trumped the ratings of Lady Gaga's holiday debut "A Very Gaga Thanksgiving." Charlie Brown drew in 5.8 million viewers and a 1.8 adult demographic rating, while Gaga pulled 5.4 million pairs of eyeballs and a 1.6 rating.

For fans of "All My Children" and "One Life to Live," it was bad enough that ABC pulled the shows that they (and in many cases, generations of their family members) had spent decades watching. But at least they could console themselves in the fact that the shows would be played online. Not any more.

Now would be a bad time to be a member of The Roots: not only have NBC execs publicly issued GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann's requested public apology over an obscure musical insult on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon," but they've also apparently landed on house band The Roots with both feet.
