The 2012 Oscar nominees have been named, which means it's time once again to look at the list and think "gee, I haven't seen any of these." You can remedy that situation pretty quickly by looking to Yidio, which has three of the Best Picture nominees available for streaming rental through Amazon and iTunes.

Raising nuts and animals in Hawaii didn't exactly pan out for Roseanne Barr show-wise. That's a tough break for her. It's good news for everybody else, though: in the time since, she's been developing her first step back into series television since "Roseanne" ended on ABC, and NBC recently picked up the pilot.

It could be that one of the parties involved in the Heidi Klum/Seal divorce doesn't want it to go through. Seal appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Tuesday to promote his upcoming album and talk about the divorce, but wore his wedding band and sang "Let's Stay Together." Was it all a message to Heidi?

Success making an artist uncomfortable isn't necessarily unusual. It's well documented that Andy Kauffman pretty openly didn't enjoy "Taxi," feeling that it was creatively beneath him. Author and playwright Anthony Burgess admitted years after its publishing that he felt he'd written better works than "A Clockwork Orange." But what must it be like having an unpleasant feeling associated with something named after you, though?

Roll over, Cronkite, and tell Edward R. Murrow the news: the 2012 presidential race has been "songified." Between making practically every movie he's in just that little bit better - including probably "The Dark Knight Rises" - and making dangerously adorkable videos with pal Zooey Deschanel, the absurdly talented Joseph Gordon-Levitt apparently also makes some time for staying well informed.
