10 Romantic TV Shows on Netflix to Binge-Watch This Valentine's Day
by Andy NeuenschwanderWhether you're on your own or cuddling up with your significant other this Valentine's Day, nothing quite beats a good binge-watch on the most romantic day of the year.
But you don't want to end up watching "American Horror Story" or something else that will totally kill the mood; so here's a list of romantic shows, all available on Netflix, that you can watch this weekend.
1. "Grey's Anatomy"
There have been so many romantic pairings on this show that we've Lost count. So whether you're a fan of McDreamy or McSteamy, there are bound to be plenty of romantic moments on this show. Check out 9 seasons streaming on Netflix.
2. "The Office"
NBC's recently departed comedy is mostly just hilarious, but it's a well-known fact that Jim and Pam are one of the greatest couples in television history. For Valentine's viewing, we recommend seasons one through three, which are all available on Netflix.
3. "Parks & Recreation"
If you appreciate a quirkier look at love for your Valentine's Day weekend, check out Parks & Rec. The show really got good when Adam Scott joined the cast as Ben Wyatt and started awkwardly romancing Amy Poehler's Leslie Knope. And of course, Andy and April are also amazing together. Five seasons are available streaming on Netflix.
4. "Bones"
When it comes to "will they/won't they" relationships, "Bones" is one of the best. Check out 8 seasons on Netflix and see why Emily Deschanel has developed her own dedicated fan base.
Yes, there are scary demons and stuff, but there's also Buffy and Angel. Nothing says love like having to send your possessed boyfriend to hell. All seven seasons of the show are on Netflix, but watch the first few for maxiumum romance.
6. "Dawson's Creek"
When it comes to teen dramas, this is the one that started it all. Let Paula Cole be the soundtrack to your Valentine's Day weekend. All six seasons are on Netflix.
7. "The Vampire Diaries"
What's more romantic than teen dramas? Teen dramas that have vampires in them. Pick a side: Team Stefan or Team Damon (hint: Team Damon is the right side) and enjoy the first four seasons on Netflix.
CBS's long-running sitcom is a goofy one, but Ted's story of how he met his kids' mother is a long one filled with romantic tales along the way. A whopping eight seasons are on Netflix for your viewing pleasure.
9. "New Girl"
The Nick/Jess relationship is key, but you'd be surprised at how often Schmidt and Cece will get you on this show. You can catch the first two seasons on Netflix, and more recent episodes on Hulu Plus.
10. "Lost"
Sure, there's a smoke monster and lots of running through jungles and stuff like that, but one of the best parts about this show was watching the survivors fall in love. If you've already seen it all, just the final episode will get the tears flowing. All six seasons are available on Netflix.
