10 Gift Ideas for 'Game of Thrones' Fans
by Andy NeuenschwanderWinter is already here, but the holidays are coming...which means it's time to shop for gifts!
One of the fastest ways to someone's heart is through their fandom, so it's no surprise that there are plenty of "Game of Thrones" gifts out there to choose from.
Here are 10 of our favorites to add to your shopping list for the holidays:
1. "You Know Nothing, Jon Snow" Mug
This one works double duty as something you can give to a buddy for some gentle mocking, or you can give it to a loved one as a unique way of saying "I love you." That's how we always felt Ygritte meant when she said it.
You can get this with different houses on the front, but there's something about House Lannister that says secret booze to us. Must be Tyrion's influence.
Listen, we're not thrilled about the use of the word "hoes," which has just become kinda outdated, but it is sort of great that this pretty much sums up the main tenets of the Night's Watch.
With multiple characters to choose from, you can get an adorable Pop! figurine that suits the person you're getting it for. This one just happens to have a tiny dragon on Dany's arm, so we're sold.
At only $10, these are a bargain and still a cool and useful gift. If you purchase from the HBO store, you can choose between these designs or a more rustic-looking set exclusive to the HBO store.
This one is only for the most hardcore of fans: A full conversational language course that will teach you how to speak Dothraki. It'll come in handy if Danaerys and her dragons ever take over your town.
The cool thing about this hoodie is that the "Game of Thrones" reference is subtle. It almost just looks like a regular hoodie, but true fans of the show and books will know what that sigil means.
8. DIY Game of Thrones Monopoly
Monopoly has created a few official variations on their game for TV shows ("The Walking Dead" has one, for instance), but there's no official "Game of Thrones" one (perhaps since there's an official board game). But with this digital kit, you can download the proper artwork to DIY your own GoT Monopoly.
Considering the track record for this job, we wouldn't recommend giving it to anyone who is prone to bad luck.
10. "Game of Thrones" D20 Tabletop RPG
If Monopoly isn't hardcore enough for your gift recipient, consider this "Dungeons & Dragons" style tabletop role-playing game based on the novels.
