Zotz! is a 1962 American comedy film directed by William Castle and starring Tom Poston, Julia Meade, and Jim Backus. The movie revolves around a professor of ancient languages named Jonathan Jones, played by Tom Poston, who comes into possession of a magical coin called a Zotz. The Zotz coin grants its holder three powers: the ability to move objects with a mere touch, the ability to speak any language in the world fluently, and the power to inflict pain on someone with the same touch. Initially, Jonathan is skeptical of the coin's powers but soon realizes that it is indeed magical.

As word of Jonathan's possession of the coin spreads, he becomes the target of various people, including his ex-girlfriend (played by Julia Meade) and a villainous spy (played by Jim Backus), who want to acquire the coin for their own purposes.

Throughout the movie, Jonathan tries to find a way to use the coin's powers for good, while avoiding those who seek to take it from him. Along the way, he has several misadventures, which include accidentally inflicting pain on a loved one and causing chaos during a football game.

The movie also explores themes of power and responsibility, as Jonathan realizes the consequences of using the coin's powers and learns to use them wisely.

Zotz! is a lighthearted comedy with a fast-paced plot and plenty of humor. The performances by the cast, particularly Tom Poston, are charming and entertaining, and the special effects used to portray the coin's powers are impressive for their time.

Overall, Zotz! is a fun and enjoyable movie that will put a smile on the faces of viewers who enjoy classic comedies.
