Zerophilia is a romantic comedy film that takes a unique spin on the concept of gender and sexuality. The movie follows the story of a young man named Luke, played by Taylor Handley, who discovers that he has a rare genetic condition called zerophilia. This condition causes him to transform into a woman every time he becomes sexually aroused.

At the beginning of the movie, Luke is an aimless college student who is struggling to find his place in the world. After a night of heavy drinking, he wakes up to find that he has grown breasts. Panicked, he goes to the hospital, where he learns about his zerophilia diagnosis.

As Luke comes to terms with this new aspect of his identity, he becomes involved with a group of other zerophiliacs who are similarly grappling with their condition. He starts dating Michelle, a transgender woman who is also a zerophiliac, played by Alison Folland. Together, Luke and Michelle explore the boundaries of their gender and sexuality, finding new ways to express themselves and embrace their true selves.

However, Luke's life becomes more complicated when he meets a beautiful young woman named Janine, played by Rebecca Mozo. He finds himself attracted to her, but doesn't know how to reconcile this attraction with his zerophilia. As he tries to navigate this new relationship, Luke must also deal with the disapproval of his family, who don't understand his condition and see it as a danger to his well-being.

The film's unique premise is handled with humor and sensitivity, and the performances by the lead actors are excellent. Taylor Handley portrays Luke as a likable but flawed protagonist, struggling to come to terms with his identity while also trying to find his place in the world. Alison Folland is also great as Michelle, bringing depth and complexity to a character who is often overlooked in stories about gender and sexuality.

The movie is not without its flaws. At times, the plot can feel disjointed and rushed, and some of the supporting characters are underdeveloped. Additionally, the film's portrayal of transgender characters has been criticized by some as being simplistic and reductive.

Despite these shortcomings, Zerophilia is a fun and thought-provoking movie that offers a fresh perspective on issues of gender and sexuality. It is a must-watch for anyone who is interested in exploring these topics in a unique and entertaining way.

Zerophilia is a 2005 comedy with a runtime of 1 hour and 30 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.0 and a MetaScore of 41.
