In the action-thriller movie Zero Tolerance, Dustin Nguyen plays a retired cop named John Nguyen who returns to his former life in Bangkok to find and protect the daughter of his long-lost friend. The movie also stars Sahajak Boonthanakit as a Thai detective named Chu who helps Nguyen in his quest and Scott Adkins as an American ex-soldier named Steven who is connected to the girl's disappearance.

The story begins with Nguyen's character, John, living a peaceful life in a small town in Thailand with his wife and daughter. However, he is forced to leave his quiet existence behind when he receives a package from an old friend containing a photo of the friend's daughter, who has been kidnapped by a group of human traffickers. The only clue John has to her whereabouts is the fact that she was taken to Bangkok.

Determined to find the girl and bring her home safely, John travels to Bangkok where he meets Chu, a police detective who knows the city well. Together, they begin to investigate the girl's disappearance, following a trail of clues and fighting their way through the seedy underworld of Bangkok.

As they dig deeper, they discover that the girl's kidnapping is just one piece of a much larger conspiracy involving corrupt cops, drug traffickers, and other dangerous criminals. Steven, played by Scott Adkins, is one of the main players in this conspiracy, and John and Chu must confront him in a series of intense and violent confrontations.

Along the way, John must also confront his own past and the demons that led him to retire from the police force in the first place. His love for his own family and his determination to protect his friend's daughter provide him with the strength he needs to face his own demons and become the avenging angel he was always meant to be.
