Zenon: The Zequel is a sequel to the original Disney Channel Original Movie, Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century. The movie follows the adventures of Zenon Kar, a futuristic teenager, who lives in the space station called Station 9. This movie is set three years after the events of the first movie, and Zenon is excited to see her friend Nebula Wade again.

The movie begins with Zenon and her parents returning to Station 9 after a vacation on Earth. Zenon is hoping to reunite with Nebula, but she discovers that Nebula has been sent to boarding school on Earth because of her poor grades. Zenon is also disappointed when she learns that her family will be moving to Earth permanently so her father can work on a new project.

Zenon is devastated at the thought of leaving her home on Station 9 and all her friends behind. However, her father offers her a compromise: he will allow her to stay on Station 9 for an extra month if she helps the space station's commander, Edward Plank, with a mission to test a new robotics system called the Protozoa 9000.

Soon after her father leaves for Earth with her mother, Zenon becomes suspicious of the Protozoa 9000 and discovers that there is an evil plot to sabotage the space station. The plot is being orchestrated by a mysterious individual named The Warden. The Warden is using the Protozoa 9000 to create an army of robots that will take over Station 9 and possibly even the entire galaxy.

Zenon, along with her friend Sage Borealis and her aunt Judy Cling, attempts to stop The Warden's nefarious plan. They face several challenges, including being stranded in space with limited oxygen, and evading robotic guards that The Warden has sent after them.

Throughout the movie, Zenon has to make tough decisions and learn to trust her own judgment. She also learns the importance of teamwork and the value of having loyal friends by her side.

Zenon: The Zequel is a thrilling and entertaining movie that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. The movie is filled with action, adventure, and a healthy dose of humor. Kirsten Storms does an excellent job reprising her role as Zenon and is well-supported by Shadia Simmons as Nebula and Lauren Maltby as Sage.

The movie's plot is well-written, and the special effects are impressive. The space station's futuristic technology is imaginative and visually stunning. The movie also includes some excellent music, courtesy of pop star Protozoa (played by Phillip Rhys).

Overall, Zenon: The Zequel is a must-watch for fans of the first Zenon movie and anyone who enjoys science fiction and adventure movies. It's a delightful family movie that balances a serious plot with a light-hearted tone. The movie's message of standing up to injustice and the importance of friendship is one that children and adults will appreciate.

Zenon: The Zequel is a 2001 kids & family movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 29 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.7.
