Yummy, released in 2019, is a horror/comedy film that follows a young couple, Alison (Maaike Neuville) and Michael (Bart Hollanders), who travel to a shady Eastern European clinic in hopes of getting breast reduction surgery for Alison, but end up becoming embroiled in a gory and terrifying zombie outbreak. The couple is accompanied by Alison's mother, Sylvia (Annick Christiaens), who has just undergone a facelift, and a socially awkward nurse named Daniel (Benjamin Ramon).

Upon arriving at the clinic, Alison and Michael discover that it is far from the reputable and well-established institution they had been led to believe it was. The staff is rude and unfriendly and the clinic itself is rundown and decrepit. Nevertheless, Alison is determined to go through with her surgery, even after a particularly disturbing encounter with her doctor.

However, things quickly take a turn for the worse when Sylvia discovers a secret operation taking place in the basement of the clinic. The operation involves the reanimation of dead tissue, and the resulting undead creatures soon escape the lab and begin attacking patients and staff alike.

Alison, Michael, Sylvia, and Daniel are forced to band together and fight their way through the zombie hordes in order to make their escape. Along the way, they encounter a variety of eccentric and colorful characters, including a levitating janitor, a deranged surgeon, and a power-hungry security guard.

Despite the gruesome violence and gore, Yummy does not take itself too seriously, and there are plenty of moments of dark humor and satire throughout the film. The characters are all unwilling participants in the horrific events unfolding around them, which only adds to the sense of absurdity and surrealism.
