Watch Yu-Gi-Oh!

This Toei Animations production is a spin off short film of the popular Japanese anime series, Yu-gi-oh! (meaning, King of Games). The thirty minute long film's cast of characters are primarily those from the show with one notable exception, Also many of the character designs are taken from the English adaptation, rather than the original Japanese version (such as Kaiba's hair which was originally green but in the film is brown).

The plot follows a young boy named Shougo, who has never won a game of Duel Monsters, a popular card game. Despite this, he acquires the powerful card, Red-Eyes Black Dragon and boasts that he doesn't need to duel as he would always win with such a rare card. This brings the attention of the egomaniacal Seto Kaiba, the duel monsters champion to bear on the young upstart. Kaiba invites Shougo to duel him but the boy is too scared to do so. Thus, Yugi Moto and his alter ego, Yami Yugi, must show him how to face his fears before Kaiba can take the Red-Eyes Black Dragon for good.
