You & Me Forever is a coming-of-age, drama film released in 2012, directed by Kaspar Munk. The story is set in Denmark and centers around the life of two teenage girls, Laura and Josephine, who have been best friends since childhood. The movie takes us through their journey as they navigate through life, dealing with different obstacles that come their way, including their changing relationship, which gets tested by different personal experiences.

The film opens with the two teenage girls enjoying their summer by the beach. Laura and Josephine plan to spend their summer together, but as the season progresses, tensions arise, and disagreements start to surface. Josephine is dealing with the recent breakup of her parents and her father's remarriage, which has put a lot of pressure on her, causing her to lash out at Laura. Laura, on the other hand, is dealing with her own set of personal problems, including her overprotective mother and a distant father. She's also struggling with self-esteem issues, which makes it hard for her to express herself.

As summer comes to an end, the girls head back to school, where they meet a new boy named Sebastian. The girls are drawn to Sebastian, and Laura starts to have feelings for him. Josephine, however, starts to become increasingly jealous of their relationship and feels left out. Laura tries to balance her relationship with Sebastian and her friendship with Josephine, but things become complicated when Sebastian becomes interested in Josephine.

While dealing with their personal struggles, Laura and Josephine's friendship gets put to the test when Josephine reveals a dark secret that she's been keeping from Laura. Laura is hurt and feels betrayed, but the girls eventually make up after some heartfelt conversations, realizing that their friendship means everything to them.

Throughout the film, we see the girls struggle with different issues that many teenagers can relate to, including feeling lonely, lost, and misunderstood. The movie does an excellent job of portraying the complexity of adolescence, and the character development of Laura and Josephine is impressive.

The cinematography in the film is beautiful, capturing the natural beauty of Denmark while also underscoring the emotional struggles of the characters. The soundtrack is also excellent, consisting of a mix of indie pop and rock songs.

You & Me Forever is a moving coming-of-age film that will resonate with anyone who's gone through the struggles of adolescence. The film portrays the beautiful complexity of teenage friendship and the power of forgiveness and acceptance. The chemistry between Julie Brochorst Andersen and Frederikke Dahl Hansen is heartwarming, making it easy to root for their friendship throughout the movie. It's an emotionally moving film that will make you reflect on your own teenage years and the friendships that helped shape you into the person you are today.
