This is a classic high school comedy movie. The class valedictorian, Chris Johnson, sets off an explosion that lands him in detention if he wants to keep his record clean. However, this is not any ordinary Saturday detention. This Saturday detention is run by an ex-Army Ranger who means business, and is not going to put up with any of the student's antics.
However, with a valedictorian, stoner, bully, a few nerds and a tomboy, this is not just any group of students. It will take all that Chris has to make it through this detention in order to pursue his Ivy League dreams.
