There is also a kind porcupine voiced by John Oliver named Steve, a fantastic but incomplete ride called Zero ((a fiery porcupine voiced by Joe Sugg), and Peanut, the chimpanzee voiced by Norbert Leo Butz. All these characters join June in her journey to restore the park and make it better than ever.

Among the obstacles the team has to overcome are the chimpanzee Peanut, who initially seems friendly but turns treacherous later. They also have to face the ominous presence of the Chimpanzombies, which represent June's anxiety and fear that her mother will not return.
