Witchcraft is a 1988 horror movie that tells the story of a wealthy and cruel businessman named William Spanner (David Hasselhoff), who leads an immoral and corrupt life. One day, his assistant Carolyn Blair (Linda Blair) convinces him to buy an old mansion, where she believes they can perform some occult rituals that can help them achieve great power and wealth. After they move into the mansion, strange things start to happen, and Carolyn becomes possessed by an evil spirit that unleashes a reign of terror upon everyone involved.
The movie begins with William Spanner running his business empire with an iron fist, manipulating people, and indulging in all kinds of illegal activities. However, his life takes a turn for the worse when Carolyn Blair, his ambitious and seductive assistant, convinces him to buy an old mansion for their secret ritualistic practices. William agrees, thinking that it's just a harmless game they're playing, but little does he know that the mansion holds a dark secret that will soon reveal itself.
Upon moving into the mansion, Carolyn starts to behave strangely, and William suspects that something is not right. The other people involved in their group, including William's wife, are also suspicious of Carolyn's behavior, but they all play along. However, when strange occurrences start happening, such as strange noises, doors opening and closing by themselves, and objects moving on their own, it becomes clear that something sinister is going on.
As the days pass, Carolyn becomes more and more possessed by an entity that feeds on her ambition and desire for power. She starts to use her newfound abilities to terrorize everyone around her, and William starts to regret his involvement in the occult rituals. However, it may be too late to turn back as the entity's grip on Carolyn tightens, and the other members of their group start to meet grisly ends.
As the movie progresses, the tension builds, and the horror intensifies as the entity takes control of Carolyn completely, turning her into a monster that is seemingly unstoppable. William and the other survivors must figure out a way to stop the entity before it's too late, but it won't be easy as the entity's powers grow stronger by the minute.
