Where Truth Lies 1996, is a serious, realistic, dreary and suspenseful movie. The mental institution is where most of the action takes place. Psychotherapist Dr. Ian Lazarre becomes dangerously depressed after his loving wife was killed in a car wreck. He got remarried  to a woman that looks identical to his first wife. Ian continued to be depressed and began drinking heavily. His new wife and his best friend decided to send him to a special mental hospital. Unfortunately, the clinic is run by a mad man looking for helpless subjects on which to test his latest experimental drug.
