Wheedle's Groove is a musical documentary that was released in 2010. The film takes a look at the booming Seattle soul music scene that existed in 1972. However, this musical movement quickly died around the time of 1975, and the city became known for other kinds of music. The documentary follows a radio DJ who found an old record in his studio, and ended up rediscovering this lost aspect of the city’s musical history. The documentary then follows the DJ as he brought the music to the public, and it tracks down some of the people who were involved in Seattle soul music.
