What the Fish is a Hindi-language comedy film released in 2013, directed by Gurmmeet Singh and starring Manu Rishi Chadha, Naresh Gosain, and Dimple Kapadia. The movie revolves around Sudha Mishra (played by Dimple Kapadia), a cantankerous and eccentric woman who decides to go on a trip and asks her loving nephew, Sameer (played by Manu Rishi Chadha), to take care of her house and her beloved pet fish, Mishti.

Sudha Mishra is a retired government employee who lives in a boisterous house with her family, including her absent-minded brother (Naresh Gosain), his wife, their son, and her niece. Sudha is hurt when her family decides to go on a trip and leave her behind. However, she decides to turn this situation into an opportunity to visit a relative in Meerut. Before leaving, she entrusts her house and pet fish Mishti to her favorite nephew, Sameer, who she believes is the only one capable of taking care of them.

Things take a wild turn when Sudha's family leaves, and Sameer arrives to take care of the house in her absence. Sameer is a struggling musician desperately looking for a break in the industry but he is stuck with the task of looking after the house and Mishti, the fish he has no clue how to take care of. While Sudha's house initially looks like a dream place to host parties, the fun and games come to an abrupt stop when Mishti, Sudha's prized possession, goes missing.

The search for Mishti leads Sameer on a hilarious and chaotic journey while he tries to keep Sudha's house in order. He encounters a host of eccentric characters like a thief who seems to be a chef, an aspiring model who's out to get him, and a supposed spiritual guru who helps him find his way out of a tricky situation.

Meanwhile, Sudha's trip to Meerut turns out to be a failure, and she returns to find her beloved pet fish missing. Sudha flies into a rage upon discovering that her house is in a state of disarray, thanks to the party-crazy Sameer. However, she later realizes that Sameer's love for her and Mishti has driven him to make their house a happening place.

Overall, What the Fish is a delightful, family-oriented comedy full of quirky humor and engaging performances. The film is a light-hearted take on family relationships and the importance of caring for each other, and it is likely to strike a chord with audiences of all ages. With impressive performances from a talented cast, What the Fish is a 'must-watch' movie that will leave you laughing long after the credits roll.
