Description
Real life explorer Sarah explores the purpose of the lighthouse in keeping sailors and ships safe from bad weather and rocky cliffs. In this episode Sarah visits the Mannez Lighthouse on the island of Alderney in the British Channel Islands. The lighthouse was built in 1912 after a ship called the SS Liverpool crashed on to the nearby rocks.
