A group of Max devotee's build a replica Interceptor drive it across tha Aust. desert, unregistered, unroadworthy, visiting locations from the Mad Max Trilogy, talk to locals about their Max experiences etc. Everything was documented including interludes with police, arguments, vehicle brakdowns and so on. Ends at Bathurst during race weekend where over 70 street vehicles are destroyed as the Mad Max sub culture collides. This mountain mayhem of destruction had never before been filmed and resulted in a variety of threats and legal 'discussions' attempting to squash its release. It was also banned from Australian TV. You dont have to be a rev head, Mad Max or V8 fan to enjoy this but it helps!
