Welcome to the Jungle is a 2013 comedic adventure film directed by Rob Meltzer and starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, Adam Brody, and Rob Huebel. The movie tells the story of a group of office workers who take a company retreat to a remote tropical island but soon find themselves stranded in the jungle and forced to resort to primal instincts to survive.

The plot centers around Chris, played by Brody, who is a weak-willed office worker working in a dysfunctional office environment. In an attempt to boost morale, his boss Phil, played by Huebel, takes the team on a company retreat to a remote tropical island. However, the retreat quickly turns into a nightmare when their pilot dies and the group is left stranded on the island.

With no way to contact the outside world and limited supplies, the group has to fend for themselves in the harsh jungle environment, facing numerous challenges along the way. Things go from bad to worse when Phil goes missing, leaving Chris in charge of the group. However, the group soon finds Phil and realizes that he has gone insane, forcing them to take matters into their own hands.

Enter Jean-Claude Van Damme, playing the character Storm, a former Marine and survivalist who lives on the island. Storm agrees to help the group survive and teaches them how to hunt, fish and build shelter. However, things take a turn for the worse when the group becomes divided and turns on each other, leading to a dramatic showdown between Chris and Phil.

The movie benefits from the chemistry between the cast members, particularly Brody and Van Damme. While Brody plays the straight man, Van Damme's character is the complete opposite - he is eccentric, quirky, and full of surprises. Huebel is also great as the egocentric boss who slowly descends into madness.

The movie also boasts some impressive action scenes, with Van Damme showcasing his martial arts skills in a number of fight sequences. However, the movie is primarily a comedy, and while there are some intense moments, it never takes itself too seriously.

All in all, Welcome to the Jungle is a fun and entertaining movie that delivers on its promises. It's not going to win any awards for its plot or acting, but it's a great movie to watch with some friends and a few drinks. Its lighthearted tone, combined with the impressive performances from the cast, make it a movie worth watching.

Welcome to the Jungle is a 2013 comedy with a runtime of 1 hour and 35 minutes. It has received poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 4.9 and a MetaScore of 25.
