They both register for the program named 'Vennela One And Half', which claims to make their lives "better in one and a half hours."

The program takes place at a resort where they're introduced to the coach (played by Brahmanandam), a motivational speaker who apparently has a history of transforming people's lives. Over the course of five days, they go through gruelling activities that test their physical and emotional strength. They also meet two women, Swarna and Priya, who help them with the activities and coach them through their problems. Through these activities, both Mahesh and Ravi learn more about themselves, their insecurities and how to overcome them.

The movie has its own share of hilarious situations, mostly thanks to Vennela Kishore's comic timing. The scenes where Vennela Kishore tries to woo his love interest Harika are hilarious and the conversations between Mahesh and Swetha are sweet and endearing. The supporting cast including Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, and others have done justice to their roles.

The soundtrack by Sunil Kashyap is refreshing and complements the storyline well. The cinematography by Sai Sriram is decent and captures the beauty of the resort and its surroundings.

The director Vennela Kishore's performance as Ravi is one of the highlights of the movie. He has played the character with ease and his comic timing is impeccable. Chaitanya Krishna as Mahesh has done a decent job, and his chemistry with Monal Gajjar is sweet and heartwarming. Monal Gajjar as Swetha is adorable and shines in her role.
