The fifth story, "The Peculiar Abilities of Mr. Mahler", takes place in a sanatorium where a group of patients with various mental disorders reside. A new patient, Mr. Mahler, arrives, and he possesses strange and extraordinary abilities that allow him to see the patients' darkest thoughts and secrets. As the story unfolds, the other patients' secrets are revealed, leading to unexpected consequences.

The final story, "The Ánimas Caller", takes place in a small town in Spain during the night of the Day of the Dead. A young girl is told about an old legend that speaks of a mysterious figure who calls the souls of the dead during the night of the vigil. As the girl tries to confront the mysterious caller, she discovers the dark secrets of her town and its inhabitants.
