Vamp is a horror-comedy movie from 1986 directed by Richard Wenk. The movie is set in Los Angeles where two college students, Keith (Chris Makepeace) and A.J. (Robert Rusler), are trying to join a fraternity. Their initiation task is to find a stripper to bring to the party. They find a flyer for a strip club and head there to find a dancer. However, what they don't realize is that the strip club is actually a front for a gang of vampires.

Once inside the club, the students soon become targets of the vampires who are looking to make them their next victims. They soon meet a streetwise cab driver called Amaretto (Sandy Baron) who becomes their ally in the battle against the bloodthirsty creatures.

The movie is a blend of horror and comedy as it explores the theme of vampirism in a witty and entertaining way. Vamp is set in a dark gothic environment which adds to the spooky atmosphere of the movie. The special effects are realistic and the makeup used to create the vampires is superbly done.

The main characters of the movie are Keith, A.J. and Amaretto. Keith is a more serious and studious character while A.J. is the more reckless and impulsive of the two. Amaretto is the one who provides comic relief with his wisecracks and street smarts. Together, they make a formidable team as they try to outsmart the vampires who are determined to make them their next prey.

The vampires in the movie are portrayed as stylish and suave predators who prey on young and unsuspecting victims. The leader of the group, Katrina (Grace Jones), is particularly intimidating with her sleek and elegant appearance. She is a seductive and manipulative character who uses her beauty and charm to lure in her prey.

The movie has a fast pace and a lot of action as the students and Amaretto try to escape the vampire-infested club. There are plenty of memorable scenes including a chase through a maze of tunnels, a confrontation with a vampire who can change shape and a showdown between Keith and Katrina.

One of the strengths of the movie is the dialogue which is often humorous and witty. There are plenty of one-liners and quips which keep the audience entertained. The soundtrack is also excellent with a mix of rock and roll and vampire-themed tunes.

Overall, Vamp is a fun and entertaining horror-comedy which is sure to appeal to fans of the genre. The movie has a great cast, excellent special effects and a fast-paced plot which keeps the audience on the edge of their seats.
