As Duke spends more time in the slums, he discovers a new meaning to life. He begins to see things from a different perspective and realizes that materialistic possessions are not everything in life. Duke's experience with Viru and his family helps him to come to terms with his son's condition and appreciate the little things in life.

In the meantime, Roshni is struggling to cope with Aditya's illness. She blames herself for his condition and feels guilty for not being able to save him. She leans on Duke's colleague, Dr. Kartik, played by Atul Agnihotri, for emotional support. Kartik develops feelings for Roshni and tries to win her over.

As Duke tries to help Viru's family, he realizes that he is running out of time to save his own son. He turns to a renowned heart surgeon, Dr. Rustom, played by Anjan Srivastav, for help. Dr. Rustom thinks that he can save Aditya's life, but the treatment is expensive, and Duke cannot afford it. He turns to a loan shark, played by Mohnish Bahl, for help.
